Lol @ all these posts about how Dominique is a bitch.
Dominique was the farthest thing from bitchy last night, jsyk. It’s not her fault Chachi wanted to make sure everyone got the choreography down, and was helping people so much that the class ran late and cut into meet and greet time. Blaming and calling Dominique names isn’t going to magically change anything. If anything you should be THANKING her for scheduling a class in the matter of an hour so NJ/NY fans could take a class. Chachi didn’t have to teach you know. Let’s all stop being bitter. This has been an indirect post~
Is the choreography that Chachi teaches simple.? Like could someone as a beginner who catches on at about a medium pace be able to get it or is it like some complex stuff.?
Yeah, she breaks it down so it’s really easy to get. She doesn’t teach in like..counts or whatever. She’ll sing the lyrics and do the moves and stuff so it’s easier to learn. My friend that went with me never danced in her life and she got down the first half of I Should Have Kissed You. And if you have any questions or if you don’t understand something don’t be afraid to ask her when she asks if anyone needs help because she will come over to you, or slow down and redo it until you understand. So I’d say beginners would definitely be able to learn.
Can you make a post going over what happens at workshops? Is it worth it to go?
It’s worth it if you actually want to learn a dance…but if you just want to meet her or hang out or whatever then I wouldn’t suggest you going. She comes out and talks to you for a little bit, then she goes over the choreography she’s teaching step by step to make sure everyone gets it down. Then you practice it with the music a couple times, then she moves on to the next half of it. Then once everyones good to go and has all the moves down, she breaks you up into groups and she dances with you once, and then you dance for her. And she kind of singles people out to go into one big group at the end of the workshop that she thinks got the moves down the best. Then she performs the whole choreo herself, thanks you for coming out, etc. And in our case, she only had 10 minutes to sign and take pictures but normally it’s a bit longer than that. Hope this helped :)
