I aM mE Season 7 Finale Performance [Part 2/2]
I aM mE Season 7 Finale Performance [Part 1/2]
“This performance made me cry. People aren’t used to this type of dancing. They’re used to watching crews to tricks, and flip off of a bench or something. They don’t realize the LEVEL of their choreography, and how GOOD it really is. They hit EVERY SINGLE BEAT, and DANCE to the song, and not just the beats. I respect Mos Wanted Crew a lot, and I respect Elektrolytes as well. They’re really amazing, but the final should have been Mos Wanted vs. Elektrolytes. Not 8 Flavahz.”
Just clearing ABDC rumors up…
Our ask box has been blowing up since this week’s episode so I just thought I’d make this to clear up all the questions everyone has. If you have any other questions after this or are still confused feel free to ask. But hopefully this clears up some of the confusion and some of the things being said on Tumblr and Twitter.
- 8 Flavahs being voted off at the taping, but RNG going home.
Every week after the taping we have people that come to our ask and say who gets voted off. Of course, they could be lying, etc. This week we were told that 8F were voted off by multiple people and apparently one of the crew members hinted at it on their twitter account but deleted it shortly after. Again, I don’t know if that’s exactly true since I don’t follow any of the girls. After the episode we had someone come to our ask and say they were at the taping and they filmed crews getting voted off twice. Originally, it was suppose to be 8F, but then the producers switched it to RNG. It’s POSSIBLE, that it happened. I don’t want to start rumors, or spread false information. But as Homero mentioned, the crew that goes home every week is mostly the producers decision. Not based on the votes.
- RNG being the next crew sponsored by WOD, leading to reason why they were the ones to go home.
Again, this question applies to the anons in our ask last night. People at the taping were saying that this is the legit reason why they decided to save 8F instead, but until WOD or RNG confirms it themselves, I wouldn’t believe anything. But the members of RNG knew they were going home before it was announced at the taping.
- Votes not counting.
This is where we screwed up. Your votes DO count, so please continue to vote for your favorite crew each week. Each crew needs all the support they can get, especially with the next episode being the last until the finale. Remember that votes cost money through home phones / landlines, and texting charges may apply. You can always vote when poll are open online here.
- Producers deciding on who’s safe and who goes home.
The producers have 100% control over everything. If they want a crew to perform every single week last because they know they’re the crew that brings in the most viewers, they’ll have them go last. Your votes DO count as stated above, and do help the crews stay “safe.” But when it comes down to it, the producers can pick a certain way they want to run the order and they do pick the way they want each crew each week to appear to the public.
- I think that’s everything for now but if I can remember anything that I didn’t mention I’ll edit in in. Please be reminded that the crew’s performances are always taped more than once and the way ABDC makes things seem on the show, may not be how they really go down. When it comes down to it the show is on MTV’s network and that should say enough tbh. Don’t let this discourage you from watching the show, or voting for your favorite crews, because that’s not my intentions. This is just a reality check and a way to put things straight for people who are spreading false information.
